Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

The Layoffs for the next wave are closer than Power Employees think

The bad news of more layoffs for Power employees are closer than people realize. The first few waves of layoffs and restructuring of job codes and combined job plans are not enough. To turn this around there will be the continuous job loss very soon along with more plant shutdowns. In and out of the state side.

I may have figured out something about our troll. This is not the only forum he frequents. Go up top and click "Latest Posts". Look down for forums on large old companies like GM, Ford, AT&T, etc and see.

Here's an example,

Morale at Ford

How is the morale at Ford right now? I am with GM, we had our cuts in Feb, the morale dipped so low I've never seen it this bad (25 years with the company)...

And then he responds in a few minutes with

Same thing here. Terrible environment full of confusion, mixed messages and low morale. People want it over but they're dragging this out over months. Go figure.

Why he's trying to get people to complain or be anxious I'm not sure.

The past year I pod down my debt and saved a boatload of cash. I am ready and hopeful for my layoff slip. This job( not a career) in Schenectady is a joke. Managers treat employees like rubbish meanwhile the newer managers don’t have a clue about manufacturing. I and many other secondary tier pay agree that once the next wave hits this useless information from working here can go in the mental trash can. I have never have worked for a company that every year my bring home pay is less. Due to the ridiculous heath care plan we have.
