How many times do people have to be told that layoffs at Xerox are ongoing? You can't seriously be shocked or think that rumors of more cuts are surprising. Wake up! If having no job security bothers you that much, then leave already! That's the state of affairs at Xerox now and it will not change. Just stop being shocked or surprised at more layoffs that happen EVERY DAY.

Nobody is shocked. It's horrible for morale to consistently do this and anyone that CAN get a job IS leaving. If you choose to stay and think you'll be okay with 2-16 weeks of severance with only 2 weeks medical - have at it. Good luck if you're over 50. Unless you are ready to retire and/or you have a spouse to cover your healthcare, unemployment is not going to carry you very far.
Get a grip. Some of us have chosen to ride it out. That doesn’t mean we aren’t interested in when the next wave is going to hit. Thats what this site is for!!!!!
