Can anyone tell me more about this company? Is it a glorified staffing/contract house or is it good working at different customer locations on a project basis? I know many people that work/worked for GM are/were from ESG. I'd really appreciate your insights. Thank you!

Agree with the previous posters! Give it a shot and here's hoping it turns out great! You never know what doors this may open.
Please try any company except GM. Good luck!
With any company, try it and see if you like it.
If you don't, then look for something else.
But in the meantime, you're getting a paycheck.
