Any news about El Reno? Heard they were shutting down completely soon.

More layoffs are surely coming soon. Maybe I’ll get lucky and be on the list.
It’s not looking good here. I thought that I would be safe at a camp this large but I am really getting worried now. What is the deal anyway every article I read states how well everything is but I can look around and see that the oil field is going to sh-t.
Our management only knows keeping trying the same thing and hopefully we get a different result this time. It’s just what happens when you remove people with knowledge and replace them with college graduates with no oil field experience. It’s not their fault there just isn’t any classes in college for what we do.
I wonder when the company management would realize that they have been promoting people not prepared or trained to be managers.
Shaving your head like the big boss doesn’t make anyone smarter
My oh my, how the mighty have fallen. Well.... Adios
When are the crews going to be transferred? Or the ones that got relocated to Texas already was that it?
There won't be much left in El Reno, administratively everything is being shifted to San Antonio. A few crews will run out of El Reno but the camp will just be store front. Not too many will be offered transfers. It's going to continue to be bad for the foreseeable future.
More crews are supposed to be laid off? Heard they laid off two-three more today.
They are just laying off people due to the down turn in the market. They are not shutting the whole camp down.
