If you like the big box feel, apply to Target, Costco, or Walmart. Those companies aren't going anywhere. Just get your foot in the door and work your way up. It'll be better in the long run and you get to beat out people who get laid off with more positions being eliminated and stores closing.
Unethical company, get out, I did! Don’t be afraid to jump, the ship us sinking. Fire OPs Mgr at store 51, check into all the lies that she has told, incorrect posted of attendance over the years and not to mention time theft! She had the backing of her good old Sm, they need the same fate!
Where? Where I live all that’s advertised are entry level jobs for a lot less than I’m making now with BBB. And my store has already had its selling floor square footage reduced, staffing drastically cut and the specialty departments (that are carrying the store) are being phased out. The writings in the wall, and my Indeed profile is on fleek, but it’s slim pickings around here.
I also got a new job. Working less hours, making more money than I did as an ASM. Don't give your loyalty to a company that doesn't care about you!
Where?
When AMs, DMs and RMs are jumping ship to greener grass, you know something isn’t right. The Company is losing some great, tenured employees that can see the unethical behavior around them. If things don’t change soon, BBB isn’t going to last more than another 5 years.
