Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

It's not a matter of ethics; it's a matter of experience........

This from a prior post.

'The management simply has no idea what to do with a company that has become the victim of its own dysfunction. Every move is a desperate attempt to stay afloat in the proverbial boat. The big picture that Ynot and his team are striving for is a mirage in a desert of debt and dried up dreams. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The road to salvation is paved with actions'

Truth. Ynot is in over his head. He holds part of a plan that 5 years ago may have worked but it's too late. Your plans for a grand new ship don't matter when you're bailing your sinking tanker with a teaspoon. Under these conditions ego and bravado does not look like leadership. It just looks like ego and bravado.

Ynot does strike me as one of those big shot Hollywood producer types, I'm not trying to make a Jewish joke, it's his personality and he certainly looks the part, handsome, chiseled physique, mysterious eyes. Looks like he drives Porsche 911, Carrera.

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions”

I’ll do you one better....

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, covered over by a rolled out Hollywood premier red carpet that Ynot fancies himself strutting down with Margot Robbie on his arm while the camera flashes pop away.

Toys are B-O-R-I-N-G....

”Hollywood” glitz and glamour, now that’s EXCITING!!

Got it, but maybe you should have made a different career move, then.
