Concerns about weakening global economy and oil demand growth trumped simmering U.S.-Iran tensions and OPEC and allies’ rollover of the production cuts into 2020, sending oil prices early on Friday on course to book their largest weekly decline in five weeks.

As of 07:09 a.m. EDT on Friday, WTI Crude was down 0.66 percent at $56.96, while Brent Crude was up 0.58 percent at $63.67.

Ha ha bhge investments.

Our office is now a staff of 30 and non of our offshore guys are busy , we had 140 , 4 years ago.

No one wants our company that ge wants rid of.

We can't afford to keep what we have as keep losing work to Weatherford who are bankrupt and still we lose work its embarrassing.

anyway you keep telling yourself things are good and on the up that will save you when you get punted next week.

Industry just a total mess.

No wonder everyone is leaving and never going back,

Pay has gone so far back just not worth it anymore, guys expected to work away 70 or 80% of the time as so many cuts , only people willing to work for money on offer is graduates or trainees ,

I now make way more money onshore working half the time and home every night.

Industry had its day and Aberdeen now is just a joke of "oil capital" half the city is for sale. dirty, shops all boarded up and companys going bankrupt weekly.

Horrible place to hand to even visit on business let alone have to live.
