Thread regarding L3 Technologies layoffs

Somewhere the old L3 Mafia is sitting back laughing

The goombas that used to run L3 had the right idea. Buy up small DOD businesses and let them continue to operate like small businesses with little corporate oversight. In swoops a guy that is so smart that he screwed up being the CEO of the largest DOD contractor in the world because he couldn’t keep his pecker in his pants...

I am convinced that Kubasik realized that his vision of turning L3 into the next Lockheed was not going to happen without a lot of hard work and corporate investment so he took the easy way out by bending over backwards for Harris. Now we have one of the worst rated CEOs in the country running the show with little Chris having his head stuck right up his derrière for 2 years.

These guys are the poster children on why most of America does not trust corporate America..

This is sad; and unfortunately true. K. Is a true example of the Peter Principle, in more than one way!

Fast Forward to getting RIF. Hold on.

The slogan "Fast. Forward" is really stupid. It shows senior management impatience and no appetite for innovation. How can you invent something really cool working really fast?))) This new entity has no future.

Lanza’s vision (RIP) of minimum corporate oversight was trashed as soon as a bean counter took over the corporation, long before Kubasik came along. This is just another step in an inevitable march toward mediocrity, where innovation dies and decision making gets tangled in procedures and policies. Fast. Forward.
