I'm curious as to how many current PC/TCs are not getting the People Lead position, and what reason they are being given. If they are willing to dump 20+ years of HR experience for someone with little to no experience it sure looks like age discrimination.

They knew who they wanted
55 years old 35 years with company, no college, was a PC and got lead. It is about how you handle your business and if you have been stepping outside the box this past year.
Curious, did any pc get people lead in their own store? It seems my market moved people around. I did not apply for other stores because of the distance from where I live. I did not get a position, but have been offered a support position because of all my “knowledge “.
59, college grad, received a PL position. 25 years with company.
58, college grad. 19 years with company.
61 Year’s old 30 Year’s of service, did not get people lead position, transferring to another store
60 years old, company time 27 years. I got a position. Now let's see if this PPL position is manageable.
Edit, two PC's did not apply. So all that applied received a position. Our metrics in this area are pretty good. We all care and try to keep up with everything we are to do.
Every TC in our market received PL and one TC. One other store supervisor. All positions filled.
They know how they are picking.
Totally agree........their Day will come also
Yes it absolutely is. Our market interviewed almost 2 weeks ago and we have not heard a word about who got a position and who didn't. Interesting how they expect us to put our lives on hold while the scam to get rid of long term PC/TC who know more about the position than anyone ever will. You are absolutely correct.
it absolutely is
