There will be no layoffs in SLC! They are going good with plenty of work for all. We should have some very profitable years ahead. They are even going to give us wage increases. It’s about time they recognized us hard working individuals. After all, we were the ones that held it together through the bad times.
CSW is pretty much the dumpster of what used to be L3. CSW has been trying to hire as many engineers as possible in order to create a "center of excellence" for a place noone wants to live in order to get a future tax break, Harris already has established tax breaks in Florida. CSW is also very top heavy in management with multiple redundant managers and vice presidents. CSW produces low volume high price items, profitability can be argued. CSW cannot produce in high volume several products which customers demand, Rover being one. CSW both competeets against as well as resells Harris SATCOM products.

can someone tell me why an Admiral in the Navy is in any way qualified to run a business? in the military the people are ordered to do what a superior says or they end up in Leavenworth... and the military is not a for-profit organization. it just seems so strange to me
