Excuse me, what benefit is there working for Halliburton anymore? One after another, each benefit and incentive has been removed. There is nothing left here to set apart from competitors.

At this stage of the cycle Halliburton has laid off all the older workers they can, all the young workers that are bright and ask why, all the workers that are smart that scare Mr. Millers cronies and all the workers that point out very obvious problems. Basically what you see is what you get. If you are looking for more benefits strive to become one of the inner circle.
A lot of us were sticking it out for Jan 2020. They took that incentive away, they want to become like everyone else, 'they say'

Well, it's an easy question to answer. All the component workers have already left to other places or have been laid off and were able to move to a different job/industry. It's pretty obvious, that the current workforce is unable to get a job outside. Because, we know damn well, if any hal employee gets a job outside, they will leave in a heart beat.
Excuse me ? What are you talking about. If you are part of the in crowd or leadership team there is a lot to stay for!!
These are tough times. As William Blake wrote some are born to sweet delight and some are born to the endless night. It's the same at all these companies.
So your not sleeping but at least your working.
