After 11 years at Walmart Pharmacy my wife was laid off. She’s a pharmacist and this was her first pharmacist job. She’s crushed and devastated – she loved every single patient and adored her team, every single one of them. Unfortunately, her loyalty and 200% engagement at work was not recognized by the management.
She was told that a ‘computer algorithm’ selected her and that she had to go. They gave her 60 days to reapply – we agreed today that she will not be doing that – it’s time to move on and now we truly see where the company is going.
