Anyone hearing about pharmacy layoffs happening today? It seems that some techs got axed - not sure how reliable the info is, chime in if you have any info...

I am a pharmacist in So Cal (Orange County) - we did not have layoffs today. I doubt that any cuts happened, they typically affect everyone at the same time.
To validate things, I'd like to ask people visiting here to chime in with their approximate locations and to tell us if there were cuts in their Pharmacy/Store today.
That way we can pool info and try to figure out what's happening (the corporate PR aint gonna help here for sure)..

I will add that they didn't hire any interns that I knew of. I was smart enough to seek out a different company when I was unhappy in March that their pharmacist grad intern interview process was taking so long. I took a full time pharmacist job with CVS. Sadly many of my intern friends were strung along through fake interviews and told in June they were not hired and had 30 days to find a different position with the company. Yeah... okay... too bad at that point most of the companies had hired their grad interns to transition into pharmacists after taking the boards. Super disappointed in Walmart.

Wow!! My store lost a part time clerk. But it so scary and so sad that no one is safe!! I would have never guessed that PICs lost their job. I also heard that some PCSMs were let go as well.
Pharmacy technician here, got told today that my position was cut. Could finish out the rest of my shift or any further scheduled shifts. I had 60 days to apply for something else or take a severance. My pharmacy manager that told me this wasn't given any further information as to what that actually means.
I was a full time technician, with the company 14 years total, 4 years this time around. There was still a technician in training that got to keep their job. Our lead tech was also safe. As were the 4 part time technicians.

Laid off today. Pharmacy tech. 11 months with the company. Was given the reorg rah rah as well. They blamed 'the computer' (something like your name popped up, it was not us selecting you which is stupid, why would you even say that)
Got the axe as Staff Pharmacist today. Same BS Restructuring, bla ,bla.The disingenuity is too much.That you may apply for other positions that may arise well knowing there will be none.Promising 60 days pay and an undetermined severance package.Heartless

Talked to a staff pharmacist that got laid off today. He said Walmart is cutting 1000 pharmacist across the company. Not sure how accurate.
Not just pharmacists, but PICs (which is generally a safe position).
Pharmacists, techs, cashiers affected. H&W also in a hiring freeze.
