To be fair, the Consumer Report review report based their 'allowable' levels to be lower than the FDA limit.
Starkey does border at the FDA limit, but because of this it is going to need to be processed differently. They are taking these steps, but this changes the positive composition of the water overall. Spring water comes from the Earth... It encounters a ton of naturally occurring minerals. I certainly don't want to be consuming an unhealthy amount of arsenic, but that's why standards are put in place.
I'm sure this will not be an appreciated point of view. I know for a fact that if most people in the country were to actually test the drinking water within their regions, they would be more sketched out by their own tap water than all the retail bottled water on any retailers shelf.
