The Longest Weekend
Rumors are strong on this. Some have been given advance notice.
They keep telling us "our numbers are strong, everything is up, sales are good, we're #1..." Yet stock is either level or slowly dropping. It goes up slightly, just so it can fall just below. Some people will have a 4 day weekend for July 4th, some will have a much much longer weekend.
I don’t think so. They’ll just keep culling the herd here slowly. Think of us all as hostages and our managers, directors, SVP’s, and those above them as our captors. They’ll be taking us “out” one or two at a time until their demand for higher stock prices are met. They’ll benevolently spare the younger, lower paid ones first, as the older ones amongst us have “already lived their lives”....here at Mattel anyway.
Ask Admins. They should know.
