Thread regarding L3 Technologies layoffs

How enthusiastically would you reapply for a job at L3?

I'm curious, if you were laid off - would you be interested in reapplying for a job at L3? Or would you run for the hills and never look back?

I know my answer - I'm so tired of this place that being laid off would come as a blessing. I'd never consider returning. But I'm wondering if some people feel differently...

I actually was laid in off in 2014. More accurately, I accepted a voluntary lay off offer.

To answer your question, I would with little to no enthusiasm reapply for a job at L3

I loved my ten years there. I am a sheet metal mechanic. With L3 I got to see the world. If they would get going in Waco again my life would be great! I would go back in a heart beat.

Absolutely not. So many better companies to work for, L3’s culture is toxic. I am thankful for my time there but there wouldn’t be any way I would apply again, especially now that I know what else is out there.

Nope. Don’t like the way they do business or treat their employees. They buy successfully managed smaller companies and proceed to run off the leadership team that made that company successful. Then the mother ship takes the contracts and moves the work to their Waco or Greenville facilities. And once they are finished raping the company they throw it away. So no. I wouldn’t reapply.
