Steve Montgomery, President, b2b Solutions: Lowe's investment in tech would be better invested on its people at the store level. This includes increasing the number of people, providing them with better knowledge of the products carried and customer service training.

My recent shopping experiences with both Lowe's and Home Depot indicate Home Depot is getting back to its roots with a knowledgeable staff who are willing to take the time to help you find the items you were searching for. They are able to answer the questions customers pose. That was not true at Lowe's.

lol what?? im the only one to of posted a link to the article. how does any of this even make me a corporate troll?? im not saying the information is incorrect...far from it......and obviously marvin is hastening that trip down the wrong path....but the information is from march of 2018...if you click the link you can clearly see on the left hand side under the name of the person who published it the date.

or from retail wire...march 9, 2018...and then it gives each of these individuals take.....under steve montgomery it says 1 year, 3 months...because thats how long ago he had that to say.

the article wasnt written about marvin..he wasnt even a lowes employee at the time!!! ... BUT that doesnt mean the information doesnt fit the mistakes he is only making worse. marvin has only made things far worse....im sure steve-o will have some nice things to say about marvin in the future.

went to read the whole article......article is from march 22, 2018! ellison wasnt even there yet. and it wasnt the number 1 bullet point...its number 6......
