Sorry to say, these layoffs are the most difficult I’ve seen in 20 years. Performance ratings have been low for a reason with planned attrition, but through force of another plan, layoffs will happen and impact sales teams throughout the USA.

I was laid off today. I’m in Madrid. Our entire sales division was impacted. Thirty five people to be exact. Sad day.
I am based in Paris, France. It’s true. All of us (sales) were laid off. We are encouraged to contact partner resellers for employment. I’ll never sell anything for NetApp ever again. The company lost its way around 2012. Never seemed to recover. I believe they are manipulating the numbers. Sales numbers have been off for years. I don’t understand who the company sustains current market share. Something is off.

They just let almost their entire European Sales and Services Teams go so they could go straight channel sales. I would guess they are "consolidating" US sales.
