Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Corporate is anti customer service.

Wall Street and the investors must take notice. Marvin and Joe must be removed. Corporate says everything we do should revolve around customer service, but the changes and cuts they make prove otherwise.

If Marv and Joe cared about the customers they would not have:

1.) cut numerous positions/departments companywide

2.) alienated the homeowner in an attempt to appease the pro.

3.) cut staffing levels to an all time low in which associates are covering numerous departments, most of which they know nothing about.

4.) developed a ridiculous new schedule that has forced many great employees to leave.

5.) ruined Lowe’s reputation with the public making it nearly impossible to hire quality associates.

6.). Flooding the stores with excessive amounts of freight causing numerous safety concerns along with a cluttered shopping experience.

7.) Using fear tactics to control the employees (greet the customer or you are fired)..

8.) Basing all their performance off the LTR scores, (most of which are completed by store associates off the clock).

9.) Destroying employee morale so that now even the most engaged associates don’t care/are miserable.

10.) copying Home Depot on nearly everything. Prior to Marvin we at Lowe’s strives to beat Depot and be better at them at everything, now we simply copy their every move.

Time for Marvin and his failed Depot team to leave!

when you take one of your busiest months of the year -- june -- and choose then to have a hiring freeze...you know youre anti-customer service! but hey....this will surely lower payroll cost a lot for the month of june and second quarter overall! as if you couldnt have transitioned your HR systems at a different time of year when things are a bit more dead.......this is essentially a mass layoff since so many people are quitting and these jobs are just now sitting open...stores struggling mightily to deal with the inability to hire up!

....but corporate will keep getting frothy about those low "likelihood to recommend" scores! hmmm...wonder why theyre low!?

Pro segment is amused by our 2 trucks and 2 drivers they share with retail customers. They are not , however, appeased. We absolutely blow every opportunity we get to serve them.

They have yet to appease the Pro truly...pretty sure Pse is on way out too to “appease” the Pro....Marvin is a mo--n obviously. The do it for me segment is growing as millennials can’t do anything...well paying for it might prove tough I guess.
