Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

How come our reputation does not precede us?

People are still applying for jobs here. We get new employees all the time. How? Why?

Does nobody really bother to google PepsiCo before trying to get a job here? Or at least after they get an offer?

Just look at this site - if I saw something like this when I was looking for a job I'd run for the hills.

Are people just lazy?

Here’s why people think it’s a good place to work. Because the world keeps saying that all companies are doing what they are doing. To me it sound like you’ve resigned yourself to settle for c-appy employers. I’m glad I’m getting out of corporate America. I’m sorry for the younger people who don’t know how it was when employers actually treated their employees with respect. Companies don’t want us who know how it was. Hence why all the older people are being cut now. And he can say relentless all he wants. Employees will start to be relentless in their search for a new job to get out of PepsiCo. They will be tired of HR bullies too

PepsiCo Canada was voted employer of the year. https://content.eluta.ca/top-employer-pepsico-canada

The posting says they even pay Health Benefits for retired employees with no age limit. Seems like an incredible company to me.

I agree. We need more real life reviews on Glassdoor. It only takes a few minutes, less than five. Be well written, brutally honest but not bitter and people will take you seriously.

Mostly unhealthy products laden with sugar. Declining namesake product.....carbonated sugar water....I think most already know this company for what it produces. If that's not enough to deter new applicants, the constant horror stories in the news regarding job cuts should.

I never reviewed him if I did, I would want negative stars. His favorite word seems to be relentless. I looked at past things he wrote and found that word multiple times. That is such a horrible word. Look up the synonyms sometime. Blatant disregard for people.

More people need to put real ,truthful and accurate reviews on Glassdoor, somehow Pepsico's "recommend to a friend" rating went from a sinking and dismal 61% to 69 % in a week ! and Ramon's approval rating is suddenly 90% ! Its more than obvious that bogus reviews are being written to manipulate these ratings. A Pepsico review from June 14 is entitled "Amazing", it gives Pepsico 5 green stars and under "cons" it says "none that I can think of" ....plaaaseeee....what BS !
