Everybody seems obsessed with guessing when layoffs will come. In most cases management has told us there will be layoffs in Power, Corporate, GED an Oil and Gas. If not look out for keywords like synergies coming from management that most always means layoffs.GE has been good to employees
don't sour on them yet. Don't stress about layoffs if it happens it happens. As with any companies you need an exit plan. Keep resume and LinkedIn current. Put feelers out to people you know at other companies. Take advantage of meaningful training opportunities.
