Please apply for a job that respects your STEM degree and you’re worth more than $19/hour no matter your GPA
I know contractors who were converted to principal techs makes less than 23 per/hr
Hmm, I thought that GF techs start at $23 an hour
Ha this is hilarious. No wonder everyone is leaving GF. Anyone there can quit and make more $$, get better benefits and enjoy a happy stress-free atmosphere working at Starbucks, plus you get GOOD coffee for free and are allowed 1 baked good per shift. Sure beats buffalo drenched left-overs and that depressing moral everyday. How sad is it that a 14nm finfet fab is having trouble competing for talent against a trendy coffee chain.
I don't think Target is giving all the added benefits of 3 weeks off, 4 personal days, 10 paid sick days, affordable health insurance, LT and ST disability insurance, company match 401k, etc.
Whiners Everywhere.
You spent thousands to get a BS and now working for a salary you can get with a GED ?
Believe me your quality of life working at global as a technician is much better than working in the target warehouse. I have done both. The summer months unloading 30-pound microwaves out of those trailers is brutal. You have to move as fast as your body can and those metal trailers get to 120+ degrees (think of how hot your car gets on a summer day when you get into it and having to do a hard 12 hr day in it). Yes, I am only getting 19 an hour with a b.s degree in STEM. However, that job showed me it could be a lot worse.
