Sinking Ship

People who are strong swimmers are the fist ones to jump off a sinking ship and head toward another ship. For many others, the other ship is not within their reach, or doesn’t exist at all. This latter group is the most vociferous about the working conditions. Most of their complaints are valid, and they in no way deserve to be treated by management the way they are.

I jumped off the sinking ship a few months ago. All I can say is, I had to leave the financial field completely. I am so much happier now. I am a lot less stressed out and my quality of life has completely changed for the better. However , My years at BNYM helped me gain many transferable skills that were really crucial in helping me land my current new role. To those of you who are still at BNYM, hang in there, go in every day and do your best. Hang in there and good luck to everyone!

The chances are you will end up in a more stable place, where you are more valued, better paid, and happier. It might take a few months, but stop worrying. I have been there, and it certainty happened to me. I work at a company where we are not treated like an expense and where there is growth.
