Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Is this a competition?

Is NetApp in the running for the company with the most toxic work environment? Worst managers? Worst culture?

Which is it? Because there has got to be a reason for why our work life has turned into hell in the last year or so.

And I'd really like to know what it is.

NetApp is beyond doomed. Why anyone still works there is beyond me.

hmmm.. Q/Q rec. growth rates not close to others...spend on R&D as % of total rev. a fraction of others....sounds like a market conditions fan boy argument...

As a NetApp employee, I see our competitors having the same problem with quarterly numbers. Sure, we did not execute in Q4 but our executives did not hide and admitted they failed. This is why smaller Sales offices were closed and will concentrate in the bigger markets. I hope we execute this quarter.

its in the numbers.....not growing at market rate....masking true margins by treating bonus as balance charge vs. SG&A....dividend strategy to prop up the stock....all the signs of a plane stalled out at 30.000 feet.....
