Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Question

Question... does anyone think we'll actually get one or both of these bonuses or are we thinking they're bogus & too good to be true? The way they are worded is you must be employed on the 6 month date & on the 12 month date & must also be employed on the date of payout which would be 30 days AFTER. So if we've only be guaranteed 6 months wouldn't we not get the first bonus if it's not paid out until basically 7 months?

Also did everyone get their bonus letter stating 6 & 12 months or did anyone else get something different? One employee here got one stating payout at 3 & 6 months & another got one stating payout at 6 & 9 months.

Other people’s bonuses are based on reducing costs, faster conversion, etc. Is it possible others (in the core or HCL) will make more IF YOU DONT receive a bonus?

Come on! You know the answer but it sure feels crummy, doesn’t it?

I get that the bonus was based on importance and pay and came from the core not HCL

If my pay is significantly MORE and I’m more knowledgeable with time and experience

I’m surprised my ‘offer’ of bonus was HALF that of my coworkers...

Sadly it’s a wake up call that I’m not near as special as I thought :)

My letter states that if I am let go for any reason other than cause prior to a bonus payday, the bonus will be in my final pay.

When HCL was given the names by your core they were given the names of the most critical employees to keep and thrn those were ranked in order of most critical to least critical, the bonuses were then calculated on that and your pay, thzt list was decided upon by your core, not HCL

It’s weird to me that some HCL got a letter with NO BONUS and some got a letter with DIFFERENT BONUS amounts.

I work side by side a few others in my Dept

I’ve been longer (and do not slack)

My offer of bonus was LESS than everyone else’s

I’m not pissy about that because I don’t plan to be here for it

I’m more confused as to the reasoning behind that

Your letter should have stated that if you get let go before the 6 month you'll get the first bonus in your final paycheck

at my core everyones letter was 6 and 12 months but we are in phase 3 if th at factors into anthing
