• Key employee incentive/retention programs at Windstream have been approved by a judge in its bankruptcy proceedings, Bloomberg reports.
• The U.S. Trustee objected to the programs, saying the key program allocated just $3.8M of the $5M earmarked for non-insiders and the balance could go to insiders/officers, and that executive performance targets were too low.
• But judge Robert Drain ruled that the programs were in line with industry standards and the employees were necessary for ongoing operations.
