Far too many supervisors, line leaders, team leaders, people whose made-up titles have no economic value and way too many managers who will do anything to keep their jobs with obscene salaries and PIPs as they know that they have no chance of getting similar benefits in the real world... consequently they add no real value or cutting edge technologies. The transformation was a complete shambles as will the foray into Digitech.

Management Heavy, bleeding company dry. And way over staffed offices.

EPS TTM $1.45

P/E for SP 500 ~20-25x EPS

SLB P/E ~26x earnings. (Share price/EPS)

The price and value are on par for the first time since the 2014 downturn. This is roughly what SLB is worth. Old 50, 100, 200x EPS share prices were speculative garbage.

You'll need to see $4-5billion (double) earnings, if you want to see real $80 value.
