Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Nothing is changing for the better. Are layoffs the next step?

This is a dangerous game. The efforts of the leadership are not bearing fruit. How soon will the company need to implement aggressive cost-cutting and perform mass layoffs? Hope I’m wrong, but everything tells me that this is going to be the scenario for the future. Thoughts?

Marvin didn't get the nickname "the Slasher" by keeping good, honest, hard working employees. Think about it.

You cant take away all the experience and tenure and expect it to get better. Lowes targeted older/experience workers to save $$$$. As a former Department Manager glad I don't do that c-ap any more and Lowes mediated out of my EEOC complaint. They knew they were discriminating older workers. They didn't even put up a fight.

Probably Specialists and other support positions. They will probably keep the Market Teams to drive around and provide “support” to the burger flippers they hire in, which is a joke, because they never support anything in the store. They should be the next to go, not anyone in the store!
