This is the bottom line with whole foods, they ONLY want " yes" people. They push tms and dept leaders to the edge with busy work to make store leadership look good for empty meaningless corporate walks. That's to weed out the people that question the senseless decisions made by coporate and store leadership. When they get only yes zombies

(I'll do anything you say) working for them, then they(leaders) can sit back and do even less. There's no one to question and give them a hard time. You have to do what is best for you. Join the zombies or think for yourself.

went down at my store today since we had long lines at all teams counters and at some had no one there to help customers shifties didn’t even help they just looked from the stl office window and complained about how everything looked bad.

norcal is struggling to just keep it’s head above water.current leadership is making wfm irrelevant no new ideas to help reduce labor or to re-focus on customers and team member retention or incentives but as long as all leadership store,regional and global get off their butts and start filling holes at stores that are understaffed.current wfm tradition is stl’s make poor decisions and they blame teams for decisions made by themselves and it’s a team thing not us .

since you said it even i told gou to say it so you’re liable . there is no accountability going uphill that’s why sh-- never rolls up hill.fake leaders get fake results.

just email amazon on the matter i’m sure they can look into the issues affecting stores i will warn you stl’s best interest is to not to acknowledge any issues but get ready for more hell if they suspect it was you .

just like the leadership person commented below but check kronos and and guarantee there is no split shifts in your store

we are doing split shifts and we can’t do anthing about it so our while day is tied up we need a union at our store.stl’s are way out of touch with the stores.

real question whole foods how many days without incidents?

team members quitting and team members working 6 fays for 40 hours how long before they get fed up with forced 6 days for 40 hrs? you seem to get it 6 days 40 hrs no reward for your sacrificed day off with your loved ones ? whole foods is officially going amazon full fillment on us.

at my store too much sh-- was stirred in the name of progress and team members have decided to reach amazon leadership instead of whole foods due to neopotism policy on behalf of whole foods and our leadership is not trusted

in my experience astl’s don’t carry tgeir weight they just pass actual astl assinged / responsible for duties to shifties who are not trained.in out store there are way too many buiness problems caused by astl’s or fastl’s not to mention team members are leaving due to their bad decisions and stl not doing a thing when they know what is going on.in my store shifties only get closing shifts or have to work the holidays since the store leadership team have plans .i remember one specific holiday we didn’t have store leadership at all.

Oh yes, in a healthy company, people don't prove they are your boss by telling you to do something that isn't a priority just because they like the sound of their own voice. But whole foods must hand out explicit instructions on how to create a toxic workplace because there always seems to be an astl who has to ignore chain of command and feed their ego by telling tms how to do their jobs. Srsly, if you have enough time to harass tms, maybe you should be applying for stl spots instead of spinning your wheels wasting labor dollars?

Srsly, the astl program should be ended. Just let TLs shifty and have a year training period for those who are definitely going to be STLs

we started having our phones recording our entire shifts since they throw you under the bus when their desicions and orders have hurt the store.let the sh-- hit the fan lord.

I was literally told that I should not question leadership? My ASTL ordered me to do some stupid task, changing a single endcap on the back of the store (no, it wasn't in bad shape, not was it changeover). I pointed out a more urgent issue that needed to be dealt with, the six unbroken pallets on the back from the day before. He literally said "when I tell you to do something, I just want to hear yes" I was an ATL at the time? Realized leadership just means being a yes person (usually yes man) at that point?

injuries going up we had 2 on the last week and one tl didn’t report it for fear of retaliation and said he did it at home but no one checked the camera so the one team member that got written up is p-ss-d about it but the tl that cut himself gets away free.

nothing like a fair playing field.

WF is still pushing the “We are different mentality” it’s the same as every other company. Just say YES and you will go far in the company. Being a useless id--t is ignored as long as you say yes and blindly follow whatever leadership tells you.
