I handed my resignation and two weeks notice today. I will miss the people, not the company. To everyone still at xerox, I have nothing but my best wishes. There are a lot of better opportunities out there.

Congrats! I haven't been able to find anything that matches my skill set, salary, and vacation. I would love to find a better job and move on. I am a single parent and therefore the sole income provider for my family. I need to find a way to have better job security.
All of my networking contacts tell me that even if their company had jobs the are even close to matching my skills, they don't recommend their companies because they are also not doing well.
In the Rochester area.
I am at the end of my career - so I am riding this out but here at a Northeastern core - we are destroyed and decimated. Great people have moved on - the atmosphere is abysmal and I count the days until I walk out the door. I loved my job and would have stayed on for a longer time. Now I hate coming here everyday. Our core was very successful but apparently that did not matter to Xerox. After 20 years - I hate my job. It pains me but it's true.
I wonder who took my post in the other thread and created a separate new one...
"I make a pretty good salary and I fear I can’t easily replace it"
If you've been here for over 10 years, that will probably be a lot easier than you think.
I got an almost 20% raise moving on. Ursula's 8-year pay freeze hurt my earnings more than I ever really consider. I would imagine most of us are in the same bought. But at least we all did it together to keep the company alive and protect Ursula's golden parachute. /sarc
I too will leave, but not until I make sure my staff is ok, to the best of my ability. I'm their only line of defense anymore.
We were wildly successful at my core, but that wasn't sufficient for Xerox.
After 20 plus years this isn't easy.
Congrats. I make a pretty good salary and I fear I can’t easily replace it. Although I know I’m still underpaid at xerox. I will continue to see el hats out there!
