Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Grand Junction is officially a storefront now!

Grand Junction has pink slipped most of management and support staff. No one is left to attend to the camp.

LNG is where it’s at currently - and Texas has the midstream pipelines going straight to the coast to refineries and export.

Yeah keep it on the down low so that we don’t have a mass exodus of employees across the country.

Headcount that got cut was relatively low in number, but gutted leadership and support. I guess the local employees will report directly to Denver or Houston now?

Not false! People that were there over 20 years got cut. Only going to see more cuts at almost all locations in the US.

Unfortunately not false information, some good friends of mine got walked out. Grand Junction camp has been in decline since the dry gas market crashed eight years ago. The only reason it remained on the map was because of Larry Kent's connections in Denver, but even that wasn't enough this round.
