Hi all! Tough day. Anyone know of any other operators around Denver with similar benefits (good PTO, health, 9/80, etc.) to look into? Noble, PDC, Extraction, Whiting, etc.? Which other company would feel comparable? Thank you!

I would look deep within yourself and ask tough questions such as, 'Do I really want to continue working in an industry that cycles through layoffs every other year (it used to be every seven years)? Do you seriously want to work in the oil and gas industry?
There is another world outside of Chevron. Yes, you are now a Chevron employee. Holy sh-- that must s---. Regardless, dust of your resume and get yourself together. I predict a long, hard road ahead.

@1dba, who are you calling a “competent firm”? Wait until you get to know the inner workings of Chevron and it’s leadership. You’ll find out how far off base you were. Lol
I throw the "Red Flag"! Along with SB 181, the Chevron buyout, It may be time for those who are family of or know Anadarko employees to call their local sheriff to implement the newly passed Colorado Red flag Bill to take weapons away from those who potentially could harm themselves or others. Colorado APC employees could possibly be construed to be unstable during this time of transition.
Try Walmart or Home Depot. You’ll fit in great there.
If you are a manager with such poor communication skills, no wonder your c-ap company got swallowed by a competent firm. You better dust off your resume and get someone else to proofread it for you.

Colorado office is the worst! Fake jobs with fake qualifications. Close the whole Denver office and close the entire Mozambique organization. The only cash assets are GoM and Midland.

No other company is going to pay you to pretend to work the way Anadarko does. You'd have to roll up your sleeves and get a little dirty at any of the operators you mentioned. Would you be willing to break a light sweat? Perhaps you should look into a government job.
