Don’t get blind- sided like so many of you seem to be as I read through these threads. Another massive layoff about to happen and if you think you’re immune your not unless... your on the Strazik “preferential” list. Consider the fact again certain executive level EB and above got a retention bonus. Consider the fact at least one individual who threatened to leave was promoted to SEB and we now have another SEB reporting to SEB. So if your not on the list and didn’t get the annual arm around the shoulder... consider yourself vulnerable. Oh and if your in Services and not part of the GPS family that’s another strike against you as we all know full well those in Services don’t know anything. The whole point is while the tactical teams keep getting whacked the executive levels remain. They will tell you they are cutting... but their cutting means de-banding starting mostly at the EB levels. What about just reducing heads at SEB and above...everything seems to start from bottom up unless it’s giving compensation, retention bonuses, stock etc. then it’s tops down. Best example ; I’m sure everyone got the email from the Power HR where she basically said nothing other then “reading between the lines don’t expect a raise again this year” ... so what’s new most haven’t received any in 3-5 years. So basically over three months HR has done nothing as this is a real difficult dilemma for them on how they are going to go away from the annual raises. Give me a break...what a useless communication. Typical HR BS. Best advice leave on your own terms vs. the pink slip. Until Culp makes big changes in Power Leadership and weeds out the bureaucracy nothing will change. Too bad his lean approach doesn’t start there.

Buddy buddy buddy, give me a job got that ol system down so no one gets a fair shake who can make em they do whatever they want and you better not say nothing
I’m immune. Get paid six figures to brose the web all day. Never had a better job!
I finally smelt the roses this past week. Firing up the resume, talking to recruiters. The interviews are already pouring in. God-willing, GE will be speck in the mirror come Christmas.
Everyone is happier who leaves!
The people in Aviation who are aware of the homewrecker (Strazik) read this and are not surprised.
Historically decisions predict future actions.
Ask an Aviation friend, this can provide you the gut wrenching details.
Greenville is a miserable place to be. Glad I am far away from that dump. Deciding to work at GE Greenville was the dumbest mistake of my career.
Not hard to believe. Will take more than Culp to clean out the GE buddy system. Meritocracy my arse!
Right on comments regarding Power. Leave when you can. I did from Greenville last Oct and could not be happier with my decision.
