It’s one thing to be letting go valuable experienced employees in the name of restructuring and losing also valuable workers via attrition as they saw the writing on the walland have jumped ship but lowering the remaining workers morali is today another thing, which can damage the company maybe even more than actual layoffs. Who in their right mind will believe anything the leadership says from now one and who will ever give their 100% when they know that the company strategy is to cut the best of us?

How does anyone “believe” in a company that pushes sugar and salt to the masses?
You’re lucky to get a 2% increase. I got a 1.75% and worked more hours. The workload is ridiculous and morale s---s.
why do you think that management really cares about the morale of the employees. They can easily recruit some fresh recruits , eventually with some external consultants to get the machine oiled again.
Pepsico is restructering since almost 20 years now , they know the routine.
I for one will never trust PepsiCo “leadership” again. People continue to lose their jobs all in the name of generating wealth for the already wealthy. 15.2% divided increase last year and employees got their meager 2% pay raise. Pathetic!!! It’s high time employees stand up and fight back. Stopping work all together would really get the attention of everyone including the precious shareholder. I hate to say it but halting money to the greediest of the greedy is the only way to get their attention. It’s not just PepsiCo, it’s all corporations that have failed to respect the employees who do the work each and every day.
