And it makes me sad this woman can come in and outsource myself, family, friends and entire teams so easily. PepsiCo talks about sustainability and being committed to the communities they operate in....guess that doesn’t apply to their employees. Very sad!!!!

I've worked in numerous global corporations since the late 90s and I've never seen such disrespect and disregard for employees. While they were praising family, group efforts, holding team and respect building exercises, expounding of the caring culture and doing anything possible to hide their plans and future efforts and making every effort to mislead their employees is just this side of illegal practices.
Hearing today of all the IT cuts really saddens me. Wishing the best for all. Frankly the best just happened to those who have been and will be cut.
It's about the shareholders and nothing more. That's what this company is reduced to. Very sad
I thought the same way when I was hired over 2 decades ago. During this time I worked with some great people & felt a sense of pride every time I came into the office. Over the past few years things began to change. Employee appreciation started to become a joke, a propaganda exercise by management to show that they cared (yeah, right). Then people who had decades of loyal service with the company started to get let go and functions outsourced to lowest bidders.
Full time employees at PepsiCo are now considered to be a liability than an asset. The only thing senior leadership cares about is to increase spending on stock buybacks so their stock and options are worth more money. Family values, loyalty, employee moral, etc. mean nothing to the leadership except finding new ways to shaft their employees.
Its hard to see why anyone would want to work at PepsiCo anymore. No matter how much the PR doctors try to spin this one, the stench of what the leadership sowed will be around for quite some time.
It's a lot of things, but mostly ... sad.
