Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

TCS Takeover

You won't see the mailboxes of those impacted yesterday disappear until June. They were all, or mostly, given 60 days, June 14. They have to train their TCS backfill first. Also heard they might be offered positions with TCS, at TCS discretion. They can also still apply for other roles. I know quite a few in both Plano and WP that are impacted. It seems that as the TCS fills become more independent (hilarious), then they will let the FTEs go. Feeling of the day - No motivation to do a good job. Why should i?

Pepsi will forego their traditional red, white and blue color scheme and now use saffron, white and green for all future packaging and uniforms.

I am one of those affected and given the 6/14 exit date. No mention of training our replacements. Maybe my position won't be one of those that are backfilled. It would be a futile effort anyway. Two months would barely get them up to speed on 1/2 of what I had to know. Had the 1:1 w/HR and they were very evasive on answering questions about rebadging. Users are screwed.

It's totally TCS. They have taken over the help desk, and now IT operations is the next complete move.
