I am in a low volume division 1 store. We are not getting the people lead position. Sales determine whether a store gets one. Our PT and TC work every day to prepare for the elimination of the job. Drastic pay cuts for them.
PC/TC jobs are over by no later than August 2nd. From AMP.
I have no idea who told you Management will on-board new associates. Our MHRM told us the People Lead hires, orientates, monitors GLMS and Pathways training, is responsible for all store training, analyzes data, is responsible for turnover, associate engagement, does scheduling, assists associates. All paperwork will be in the "cloud" so to speak. All digitally stored. No more filing paperwork. All new work availability forms are submitted on WIRE. No more having to key them in. People Lead works on floor, training new associates. About time this role changed from being a "people babysitter" to being a real HR person. Training, orientations, scheduling. I am looking forward to it.
Sounds like a "People "Support Manager position... there will be minimal actual office work to do. Bet they will have keys and be a glorified support role.
What ppl doesnt know is we are going to workday, we will not do anything with loa, Sedgwick wiill handle everything, we sell not inactivate or activate, workday will do it. We will not handle compensation, transfers, orientations. Management onboards them. Alot of the personnel work manager will handle.
I can’t imagine it going under 40 hours. It’s a full-time associate plus their going to have to do the work for two people.

Spoon feeding us bits and pieces. Maybe not 40 hours. Will find out what stores are avsil. Right before you opt in or out. Supercenter may have to have a neighborhood market store also. Crazy
