There better not be any more layoffs at PepsiCo any time soon. Between all the layoffs and people leaving on their own (and there are more and more people who are deciding to quit each day) there will be nobody left to do the work.
So how about we take a break on layoffs and actually try and get some people into the company who can help those of us forced to do the work of three-four people?

OMG you drank the kool aid! This is not about you, it’s about share price. Nobody cares if you spend the next 2 years unemployed and default on your mortgage. On the other hand, you will hear the floor rumbling above you if the stock price goes up a buck. Whether your a driver or a passenger, the bus is headed down the road and the bridge is out. Get off while you can !!

If there are people doing the work of 4 people, what is the incentive to leadership to hire more people? Answer: NONE
We actually get hundreds of applications a day. Don't worry on account of that.
