I thought they bought the building? I guess that’s not the case?
If banks are so much of Refinitiv’s business wouldn’t it not make sense to shut the NY operations when so many of them have HQs here?

Project Fleet is Refinitiv's data center consolidation and decommissioning initiative - a short-term cost-cutting measure to get out of expensive data center locations quickly.
It's no surprise they named it after the famous enema because the people running it are completely full of sh**.

I am one of the shift employees that do 12-hour shifts (ones that work the Bangkok / NY shifts). They are getting rid of the shift schedule and moving all 24-hr support ops to Bangalore. That wipes out the entire Eikon Level 2 support staff of both Bangkok and NY (a total of about 36 employees).
Royally p-ss-d at what's going on right now, especially with the TCS people bossing Refinitiv employees around with the Fleet project.
