You knew the EM endgame when they entered the fray. It's a pump & dump strategy. The irony is that the folks from EM probably think they the smartest guys in the room though in reality in terms of intellectual capacity it's the reverse.
But take it from an ex Citrite who was let go 3 years ago. Each of you have skills that are valuable. But also use the time to skill up.
If you are a developer then the world of desktop apps is shrinking. The world has moved on in terms of tech stacks. Embrace typescript, react/angular, micro services, cloud, software defined infrastructure etc. It's an exciting place to be. Look forward to reinventing yourself.
Oh yeah did I say I'm 52 now and enjoying the renaissance in careers. It's that metaphor - the world is your oyster don't shy away from it.
