Does anyone know what teams are going to be affected with this lay-off? And what is the timeframe?

Virtualization and networking are in the firing line. Rayleigh has gained too much power off-late so ShareFile is more or less safe.

Nobody knows for sure what departments or the criteria. Layoffs don’t discriminate and is open for all. However, I strongly agree there is no other department or group more deserving to be let go than “Marketing”. I wish no ill on anyone but this team of jack@55es really screwed up.
My vote sc-ap marketing from the top and save the bottom half.
All teams are in jeopardy. Elliott Management's MO is to reduce staff prior to selling the company. Their history is public knowledge, and has been documented thoroughly by NYT, WSJ, etc. Buy low, sell high -- it's not a difficult principle to understand. Accepting it, that's a different story. It's just a job, after all, so dry your tears and polish your CV.
