I had 40 hours, now I am down to 32. For the week of April 13th. I picked up a shift for Saturday. I checked my schedule at home and notice that my hours had been changed? Can a manager legally change your hours, after it has been posted?

I was a manager, laid off in 2018. We had to give 24hr notice when I was doing it. Not sure if this changed
One of our co-managers told us that they no longer have to give us a notice and that we need to look at our schedules everyday for “any changes” to the stores needs.
Yes they can but should be providing AT LEAST 24 hours notice and it should only be for a legitimate business need. It's been this way for years.
Next time you get on the wire to look at your schedule, look down at one of the bottom corners. There it states 'this schedule accurate as of:' and next to that is a clock counting away seconds and minutes LOL. So yeah, they can change it anytime for any or no reason. What's blowing people over this is they usually don't---but now yall are finding out they can----and probably will from now on. Yet another great reason to * LEAVE * !
The schedule can be changed at any time after it's posted. There has to be a 24 hour notice for a change in specific shifts.
