Happened to me in Feb. when my meeting with my director ended up being with HR. After the initial shock, I feel a sense of relief that I am now out and enjoying my severance. I did not realize toxic the IT environment had become and now with latest announcement why would anyone want to work for such a company who's only goal is to give their loyal workers the shaft while billions are spent keeping the shareholder happy and good paying jobs are sold to India for pennies on the dollar.
It really is a game of thrones, isn't it?
