being reported by someone who works there that some corporate people showed up today and laid off everyone -- managers, drivers, ride alongs, associates, admins etc. -- that work there. This same person reported a week ago that they had a feeling this was about to go down as corporate had been moving more and more of their loads to 3rd parties and lightening the loads of their own lowes trucks.

Lowe's has been getting worse every day. My Son was working as PSI, they called em' all in & told them they would are doing away with their job Feb 16th, So He had vacation to take which was granted. They called Him during his vacation & asked if He would just come in for a customer. He agreed, but, had a few problems getting there. So they fired Him for no call no show. They avoided paying Him 7,500 severance pay and that's the way Lowe's works. Shame on Lowe's , I will never uses them again for any products or any needs. Shame-Shame.
no reason to down vote this lol. theres a post on reddit and numerous post on facebook from employees. their last day is april 30th. lowes continues its transition from CDT to XDT (cross dock).
