Special systems or not, Canada won’t last the summer. It has been an IT cost waste target for years. Brush up on your languages because you are about to be rebadged. Nobody should be surprised about this.
It is by Nov 1st this year for those based out of India. Relocate to Hyderabad or leave (and no severance package)
Don't' believe Canada is a safe zone. Over the years I've seen a number of very good Canadian colleagues being shown the door due to "restructuring". No job is safe as leadership believes that TCS (totally c-appy service) can do the work cheaper than experienced & knowledgeable FTE's.
Don’t believe the fear mongers. Canada is a safe zone. There are too many applications that are strictly for Canada use.
It means if you live in the US or Canada you'd better like Plano!

Closure of IT departments means exactly what it says. Feel bad for our friends in Canada.
