Tata Consulting Services spent time at a Northeast site working on an augmented reality solution for ITand maintenance resolutions. Essentially, a device similar to Google Glass will be used to resolve IT issues and possibly used to troubleshoot other maintenance issues.

Wrong again! There are a few technical employees left and one of them worked with the vendor to get all installed. Not TCS, although TCS does other development in same area.
Yeah? And? IT has been working fixed bid contracts with TCS , Infosys, and Cognizant for years. We haven't had a FTE developer bench since 2014. The technical FTEs left just oversee the vendors.

I would agree. If DVC works at Killingly, it will be implemented globally as soon as possible. Unfortunately it's success and measuring if it's viable is a long way away.
Hmm. Sounds pretty stupid, but just the sort of gee-whiz tech overkill that PepsiCo decision makers would fall for.
