Thread regarding Nationwide (Insurance and Financial Services) layoffs

Another Major Round

I heard today from a person in HR that another round of layoffs are coming in the Fall of 2019. Anyone else hear this or know anymore information?

It's not "layoffs," it's "Transformational Journey"

A couple years ago our AVP (I was in one of the IT areas) told people that we needs to be okay with change because there’s probably not going to be an end to the layoffs.

That was a very telling moment... 😆

There will be another round in 2020 and 2021 for IT. Susan Gueli and Fowler both told us this. Months ago, Fowler said layoffs will be an ongoing thing forever. I'm paraphrasing.

Hadn’t heard it was the fall but it’s pretty clear they are not done. Some think even earlier.
