If they are reading all your emails, chats and texts; watching all your internet activity; listening to all your phone calls; you can be damn sure they know who is filling out the surveys. I hope people will still fill them out, because they need to see what people really feel and see with this company. I was once very proud and dedicated to the best railroad in the industry. Such a shame to see it being destroyed this way. Still some very good management there. Wish they could stand up to Lance and some of the other poor executive members to do the right thing before it's much too late.

Don’t do it. It’s not anonymous no matter what they tell you. They will tell you it’s ‘confidential not anonymous’. Ask them what that means if you don’t already understand. If you do decide to take it don’t enter any comments. I’ve heard upper management and senior HR (Directors and General Directors) trying to deduce who made certain comments. They would sometimes decide on a specific individual. Who knows if they were right or wrong. I shudder to think how much retribution there was. By the way, they won’t ever do anything about the poor morale. They only do the survey because the board tells them to and they can’t turn around the culture because of the shady executive leadership and weak HR GD and Directors.

I remember agreement employees getting followed around by a manager with his ticket book until they found a Cardinal or Critical rule violation because of a condescending comment on a survey.

Youd have to be braindead to think filling out the survey would mean good things for you.

THEY ARE NOT ANONYMOUS. DO NOT TRUST UP MANAGEMENT. THEY ARE SNAKES. PROVEN TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

Be careful because they know who fills these things out. I was once met in the elevator by an HR General Director as the anonymous one because of the comments I put into a survey. Not a good feeling.

I sure hope the post about quality of life is a joke, if not some people are so far out of touch it's unreal.

Phuck that survey! Union Pacific is not going to change a darn thing regardless what I say on that survey! The less they know about

Me the better off I am! Once you log in with your omnk# they know who you are! Just do what your told, do it safely, professionally and in a timely manner! And don’t do more then asked!
