Never in my life have I ever been subjected to a situation like the one going on now. Nobody can get clear cut answers and just when you think we do, boom we get told it's wrong, again!! To split companies with badged and unbadged employees is ridiculous. We get told we are being rebadged and are given what seems like minutes to make decisions that are important and crucial to daily life. Then we are given benefit info only to find out HCL listed the wrong rates so we now have to sign up for benefits without knowing exactly what they're going to cost, then today we get told we now have to go to an employment verification site to show documentation to prove we can work in the USA, are you kidding me? Xerox has already screwed us over so bad and they couldn't take care of this? It's just been one thing after another and I personally think HCL is in over their head!

Regarding our first pay, we should receive our first pay from HCL on the 15rh not on the 26 as mentioned. Don't play with our pay!
The rates in the benefits we heard were wrong, they put the global core rates that we paid for health insurance instead of what our costs will be for insurance through HCL, supposedly our April rates will be what we were paying under Xerox when payroll is processed and it will be corrected in the May payroll
@YiucaV0 i had NOT heard anything about the fact that we were given incorrect rates. On what specifically?? What did you mean by "Then we are given benefit info only to find out HCL listed the wrong rates so we now have to sign up for benefits without knowing exactly what they're going to cost, "
I wonder how many colleges will use Xerox history from Ursula becoming CEO, followed by the acquisition of ACS, inheriting Icahn to now as a case study in how to destroy a company
Unfortunately, most of the HR folks I know who tried to do right for their employees or cared enough to try to explain what is going on were shown the door in 2018 as soon as the severance plan was changed. Caring about employees is not an historical strength of Icahn but the old Xerox legal team advised it was not possible to get around Europe’s statutory severance plans. Thus, they were replaced by Icahn’s own layers who have been working on it ever since.
I'm a former Xerox employee, got laid off recently. Actually, I do get the employment verification that you're legal to work in the US. I had quit Xerox and got rehired about 20 years ago. I had to bring in proof of citizenship (used my passport), due to US government regulations. My guess is, HCL is under particular scrutiny due to being a foreign owned company. Just be glad you don't have to take a d--g test for HCL re-badging (which I had to do to get rehired)!
Global can't answer anything because apparently most of them don't know what the hell is going on either. Our HR is just wandering around as lost as anyone else.
I for one am tired of lying to our customers who deserve better than this BS and am going to start telling them the truth about their "local" office and the people that think we are going to have jobs in 3 months need to wake up
Oh and as far as going offsite to verify employment status good luck finding anything in central FL because there isn't anything for 100 miles
I haven't heard good things around our office. And unfortunately, you can't get any answers from local HR. I know our people are stressed.
I wasn't re-badged, but I am sure I will be in the next round. Not looking forward to this.
Exactly, I get invited to calls that have already happened, if they can't get this stuff right, what the heck is going to happen with the first payroll? It's bad enough they run two weeks behind, we work a full 4 weeks before we get paid but paid just for the first two weeks. Plus all time off requested does not carry over, you have to put the requests into the new adp system and who knows how long approvals take, it just s---s!
This is the saddest thing I’ve ever experienced!! Been with global 10 years in a very successful core and everyone is panicked and confused! Completely disrupted to the work flow!!! No one knows what’s going! Hr can’t answer anything and HCL is tough to get in touch with
