Thread regarding L3 Technologies layoffs

Any layoffs news?

It's been really quiet lately here when it comes to layoffs. I'd like to be able to take that as good news, but unfortunately, I know better. We are all aware that more layoffs are coming, the question is when and how bad it will be.

Any info on this will be highly appreciated.

L3T has 31k employees

Maybe 400 at the hq. So they are tko.

What you never heard throughout this process is how many of their locations are duplicative with exception of night vision which this am was divested to Elbit.

CSW same as Harris in Fla my guess they get spun next.

Ultimately 3 to 5k cuts ballpark

Wait for the "merger" to go through... I'd bet they have contingency plans for layoffs on three levels: big, bigger, and "get out of the way"

Bad news for Greenville, word has it they LOST the 130 AMP program. But GVL is big, right. They can handle losing out on 250-300 jobs! Thinking the AF is tired of having planes burn up there. Either going to Collins or Waco!
